Tyler Cantrell

Tyler is a 2009 graduate of UAB. He is currently in his 4th year as youth director at Blountsville United Methodist Church where he ministers to over eighty youth on a weekly basis. He was formerly the director of the Inner Circle college & career ministry in Blountsville. Tyler has a passion for foreign & local missions & has coordinated many service projects including tornado cleanups, home remodeling & serving the homeless population. In his spare time, Tyler can be found cheering on the Blazers at Legion Field & Bartow Arena. He has covered UAB sports as a writer/reporter for the independent UAB fan site, BlazerTV.com & SB Nation. Tyler & his wife Ashley live in Blountsville with their daughter, Ava & their dog, Lola.
